The process
How we make questions

What we will not ship
Out
No junk options
Options no student would pick on any question.
Out
No length cues
Items you can pass by spotting the longest answer.
Out
No skipped reads
A draft that skipped a person because a model already liked it.
How a question is made
- 01
Drafted from mistakes students actually make
Questions are drafted by AI. Wrong answers come from misconceptions students commonly hold. They are not throwaway options, jokes, or choices no student would pick on any question.
- 02
Checked by other AI models
Other AI models that did not write a question try it without seeing the key. Where they disagree, that is flagged for the person who reads it. Agreement is only a note. It is not a shortcut around a human.
- 03
Sources, where one applies
Where a question rests on a specific reference, we attach a source from the NDAEB Theory Handbook reference list and show it with the question. Every question is also tagged to one numbered item of the Domain Description, so we can see which parts of the exam are thin and which are well covered.
- 04
Read by a person. Every single one.
No question goes out automatically. A person reads every question that reaches you. One by one. That step is not optional.
- 05
And if we get one wrong
You can report a question in the app. A person reads every report. A question that is wrong gets fixed or removed.
Official sources
The NDAEB Theory Examination is administered by the NDAEB. PocketPass does not represent them. Area names, their weights, the Domain Description, and the reference list come from these public documents.
